Meet the Doctor

Dr. Funyak was born and raised in Billings, Montana. His professional development began when he attended the University of Puget Sound where he played collegiate baseball and earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, the number one dental school in the country.

In order, to advance his professional development as a dentist eager to provide comprehensive dental treatment, he completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry residency at the number one program in the country at the Veterans Affairs dental clinic in San Antonio, Texas. The intensive residency program provided opportunities for Dr. Funyak to treat veterans with complex dental needs utilizing full-mouth rehabilitation, esthetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, clear-aligner orthodontics, prosthetics, dental sleep appliances, and management of temporomandibular disorder. Dr. Funyak uses his experience to provide his patients with comprehensive treatment plans, so they can make educated decisions to optimize their oral health and achieve their ideal smile.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Funyak enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out in the gym, playing golf and pickleball, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Funyak is excited to establish himself in South Florida and begin forming relationships with his patients while treating their dental needs.
